GEEK4GEEK Original Designs

We are trying to move away from doing the mainstream geeky products; by that I mean the ones that you can get anywhere. We have recently changed the focus of our business. We want to be a place for independent artists can go and sell there own designs as well as our in house original ideas. Over the course of the next few weeks we will feature a new GEEK4GEEK design.

In light of our new series The World of Doctor Who we thought it would be prudent to start this feature off with discussing our 4th Doctor design. As of today this is the only Dr. Who piece that we currently have and in the upcoming weeks will be available for purchase on our website.

Jelly Baby?
Jelly Baby?

The 4th Doctor, played by Tom Baker, was known for many things a few of which we wanted to capture in this design. We decided to make the Jelly Babies the main feature of the design because at the oddest moments the Dr. would offer them to whomever was around. The look on his face shows is insanity. Whenever stuff hit the fan the Dr. was the first to become very excited. These were the moments we got to see his insanity and love for the life threatening moments that would come his way.

This design is our tribute to Tom Baker and his portrayal of the Dr. and was able to come to life through the talents of Dave Sanders of Grinzday Graphic Design. Without him we would be stuck with a concept, because of him we are able to kick off our new original designs to share with the people of the Geekdom.
